The University of Montana DeWit RiteCare Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic, originally established in 1998, is housed in the Curry Health Center on the University of Montana campus. Support the UM DeWit RiteCare ClinicĪll donations are tax deductible and can be made by filling out a donation form. Scholarships are supported by the Western Montana Scottish Rite Foundation however, masonic affiliation is not required. We believe that every individual should have access to these services, regardless of financial, geographic, or physical barriers. Intervention is evidence-based and client-centered. We prepare future speech-language pathologists with practical experience through exceptional hands-on training and supervision. Increased cleaning procedures in clinical areas are still in place, and we are continuously monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 situation in order to keep our people safe. Masks are still required in clinical areas of Curry Health. Please contact our clinic front desk at 40 for assistance in obtaining a referral to a community clinic accepting new patients and/or to be added to any of our specialty clinics email lists. Fall semester groups are Monday mornings for 2 hours. SPARK (Speech, Phonology, and Articulation Remediation for Kids) clinic is currently accepting new clients for fall semester! SPARK clinic is group therapy in a preschool setting for kids ages 2-4 who are difficult to understand. Specialty clinics include BSAP, YETI, and SPARK. However, we are always happy to add clients to our email lists for specialty clinics, which do open their application processes for new clients throughout the year, depending on when clinics are scheduled.
